Vintage Irwin Dolls

These 2 little sweeties are plastic dolls by Irwin, popular in the 1940's.  They're each wearing their original holiday, hand crocheted dresses.  Their arms are moveable.  The doll on the right is a "powder doll".  There are 6 little holes in the top of her head - ouch!  In the way back these dolls would be filled with baby powder and used in the nursery.  Hmmm.  The dolls stand 6 1/2" tall.  These little girls have asked to be kept together, so I'm selling them as a pair!
