Valentine’s Day is a great way to lighten up the long winter month of February. This little banner features a happy garden of hearts & flowers (wishful thinking!) in pinks and red. They surround my country mailbox which is overflowing with valentines. It’s bordered with ivory ric-rac to bring back that frilly, lacey look of a vintage valentine.

All the fabrics in the kit are Liberty Homestead’s hand dyed sueded cotton. Also included are the Ivory ric-rac trim and the tiny heart buttons to seal your Valentine envelopes. The banner is made with fusible, raw edge applique.
