4th of July typically brings to mind fireworks, parades, bar-b-ques in the back yard, and flags waving all over town. For my banner I’ve chosen to go with a more “homey”, down-on-the-farm feeling for the holiday. I’ve featured an old wooden bucket dressed up with a stars & stripes bunting and filled with happy little 3-dimensional red geraniums. A small flag planted alongside and stars in the corners finish this red, white, and blue holiday banner.

This little banner is made with raw edge, fusible applique on a quilted background. The Geraniums are 3-dimensional. The kit contains my hand dyed cottons, star buttons, and DMC floss for the flower centers.
