Dresden Plate & Dresden Fans Pattern

This is the first pattern in the new "Liberty Banners" series. The pattern includes three cute little banners, all based on the traditional Dresden Plate design. Each one finishes 16" x 16". These versatile designs would also be cute as pillow tops, or you can use them as quilt blocks for a wonderful full size quilt. Fabric kits are also available for these designs under the "Kits" section.

The Prairie Album

The Prairie Album quilt is a folk art version of the traditional Baltimore Album quilts. My version is made with a soft black flannel background, and the applique pieces are my hand dyed cottons using the iron-on technique & machine applique.
Instructions are included to make any one of the 9 block designs into a little hanging banner using wool applique.

Play Time

These three quilts were all made with bright colored fabrics of all types - stripes, florals, polka dots, & picture prints with a toy box theme. I combined these playful fabrics with coordinating colors of my Liberty Homestead hand dyed cottons. These are three quick little quilts that you can really have some fun with.
